What is iTunes U?
iTunes U is a content distribution system offered free of charge that enables colleges and universities to make audio and video material available to students, staff, faculty and others via the iTunes Store. iTunes U allows users to subscribe and download the content to their computer, transfer it to their iPod or portable device and view it or listen to it at their convenience. Based on a written and signed agreement with Apple Computer, Inc., Ithaca College has the ability to distribute content via iTunes U. Content on iTunes U will be public however users using iTunes U courses, can make this content private.. Ithaca College on iTunes U is an official initiative of Ithaca College, and it is sponsored by Digital Instruction and Information Services (DIIS).
